Traverse City Tops Rankings
For those of us that are fortunate to call Traverse City home we already know what a special place this is. However, it's always nice to hear what others have to say about this great town and our surroundings. Over the past few months Traverse City has received several nice rankings with national exposure including:
AOL Travel News (June 2010) Traverse City was ranked in the list of "America's Top 10 Beach Towns". Got to love that sugar-sand.
AOL Travel News (June 2010) Traverse City was listed as one of the "Top 10 Coolest Towns in the States". What a great place to escape the summer heat.
Trip Advisor (May 2010) Traverse City took the #2 spot of the "Top 10 list of
Charming Small Towns" after surveying 200 American Cities. The #1 spot went to Carmel, CA. We can live with that. Trip Advisor also ranked Traverse City as one of "America's Top 10 Wine Destinations". We're not going to wine about that.
Livability.com (April 2010) Traverse City took the #1 spot on their list of Top 10 Surprising Foodie Towns. We're not surprised – but we love the #1 spot.
Discover Pure Michigan in Traverse City and we think you'll put us on the top of your list too.
